Job description:Rochdale Sixth Form College has made a flying start since opening in 2010. With currently around 1900 students on roll the College had its first OFSTED inspection in 2013 and was only the second sixth form college in the UK to be graded outstanding in all categories under the Ofsted inspection framework.
We are looking for an outstanding, enthusiastic and passionate Performing Arts Technician, who is keen to continuously improve the classroom experience of our students. Overall Purpose of the Post
The Performing Arts area at RSFC has been heavily invested in and includes a state of the art theatre, drama studio and recording/rehearsal studios where drama and music classes take place. In addition, public performances, events, enrichment activities and assemblies will be a key feature of college life and high quality practical and technical assistance is needed in all of these areas.

All appointments will be made on the nationally agreed Sixth Form College pay spine based on qualification and experience. The salary for this post is Pay Point 2 currently £18,039. This is topped up to the Real Living Wage of £18,327 pro rata. The actual wage for this particular role for Term Time + 1 week is £16,239.
