Altus Education Partnership Welcomes Kingsway Park High School To The Trust
The Trust is delighted to announce that on 1st February 2022 Kingsway Park High School joined the Altus Education Partnership family of academies. The school joins Rochdale Sixth Form College and the new Edgar Wood Academy in the Trust.
Kingsway Park High School, rated by Ofsted as a ‘Good’ school is a friendly, inspirational, and high-performing school with outstanding facilities for learning, as well as being an organisation that brings significant benefit to the wider community. Rochdale Sixth Form College is one of the top performing colleges in the country and the Times Educational Supplement’s ‘Sixth Form College of the Year’.
Kingsway Park High School and the college have worked closely together for over 10 years. In that time nearly a thousand pupils have progressed to the college from Kingsway – the very large majority of them moving on successfully to university and/or high-quality apprenticeships and employment.
With Kingsway Park joining Altus, the Trust commits to build on these successes, bringing a stronger collaborative partnership and even more opportunities to support the educational and personal development of young people in the borough.
It is the aim of the Trust to work closely & collaboratively both internally, through its academies, and externally with other organisations, to continue to provide the borough of Rochdale and its surrounds the very best quality of education
The Trust provide a shared central service that includes finance, school improvement, HR, governance, marketing, communications and IT.
