Invigilator – Casual

Real Living Wage - £12 per hour

Edgar Wood Academy is seeking a team of passionate and detail-oriented Invigilators to ensure our exams are conducted smoothly and fairly. This is an opportunity to contribute to the success of our students in a professional and supportive environment.

As an Invigilator, you will play a crucial role in the administration of examinations, helping to create a secure and comfortable setting for our students.

Main Responsibilities

• Provide invigilation and administrative support to the examinations office, ensuring strict adherence to JCQ guidelines and Academy standards.
• Support students requiring additional assistance, acting as a reader or scribe as needed.
• Remain flexible and available during peak examination periods.

Person Specification

We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Reliable and highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
• Calm and approachable, with the ability to handle stressful situations professionally.
• Able to follow instructions precisely, upholding exam procedures.
