Job Title: Teacher of RE
Reports to: Head of RE
Remuneration: Main Teacher Pay Scale
Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37 hrs per week, term-time only)
Start Date: September 2025
About the Role:
Edgar Wood Academy is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Religious Education to join our thriving Humanities Department. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring educator to contribute to the development of our inclusive and ambitious curriculum.

The Role:
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver high-quality RE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Inspire curiosity, debate, and critical thinking among students.
- Support students in developing respect and understanding of different faiths and worldviews.
- Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider life of the school.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:
- QTS and experience of teaching RE to a high standard.
