Salary: School Support Scale 05 – 06
Contract: Permanent – TTO plus 1 week – 37 hours per week
Start Date: As soon as possible

Kingsway Park High School is seeking a passionate and dynamic Food Technician to join our thriving Technology Faculty. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking and inclusive school community that is on a journey of continuous improvement under a new Senior Leadership Team.
Our Food Science and Nutrition Department is well-equipped with two dedicated classrooms and state-of-the-art resources. As a Food Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our teaching staff to deliver high-quality lessons, maintaining an excellent learning environment, and inspiring students to excel in Food Science and Nutrition.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Food Preparation & Stock Management: Ordering, storing, and disposing of ingredients; ensuring stock levels are maintained.
- Equipment Maintenance: Organising, cleaning, and repairing equipment as needed.
- Classroom Support: Preparing materials for lessons, assisting with demonstrations, and helping students with their practical work.
- Health & Safety: Maintaining a safe, clean environment and managing department records.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working as a Food Technician.
- Strong subject knowledge and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A commitment to safeguarding and enhancing the learning experience of all students.
