Altus Education Partnership is looking to recruit a dedicated Evening Cleaner.
Role Overview:
Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean, safe spaces? Looking for a stable, part-time role in a supportive environment? Edgar Wood Academy is looking for a committed Evening Cleaner to join our cleaning team and help us maintain a welcoming and hygienic school environment for all.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to work evenings in a reliable, term-time only role — ideal for fitting around family or other commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all assigned areas are cleaned to a high standard, including classrooms, offices, corridors, and restrooms.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and waste disposal.
- Replenish consumable items (e.g., soap, toilet paper) as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and effectively.
- Follow established health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Cleaning experience is helpful but not essential — full training will be provided.
