Deputy Head Secondary Academy Improvement
Gail brings almost thirty years of secondary education experience to the Trust, so is well placed to support the quality of education improvement across all its academies.
Gail has worked in both tertiary and secondary education and started her career as an A level and GCSE teacher of English Literature. Her first early leadership role was as the creator of an International Baccalaureate curriculum which was then established in the third largest school in Europe. Having over fifteen years of senior leadership experience, Gail is well-placed to guide in aspects such as curriculum, teaching & learning, and assessment. A significant amount of her time has been spent developing staff from early career all the way to senior leaders.
As an Advanced Skills Teacher (AST), Gail has carried out extensive outreach work with wider schools, supporting other leaders and practitioners to shape their classroom craft successfully, A passion for inspirational teaching and the firm belief that our young people are entitled to the best practice is the cornerstone of Gail's educational mantra. She brings enthusiasm and a high level of QE expertise to the Trust.
