Deputy Head Primary Academy Improvement

Helen has over thirty years’ experience working in primary education. She has spent the majority of her career in Rochdale, serving as teacher, deputy and headteacher in the Catholic sector. During her fifteen years in headship, she led a successful primary school in Kirkholt with a strong reputation. She has worked collegiately with schools across the borough as chair of the Catholic collaborative for seven years and latterly, co-chair of Rochdale Association of Early Years & Primary Headteachers, liaising with the Local Authority and school leaders to support schools in Rochdale.

Helen is currently seconded to the role of Deputy Head of Academy Improvement for Altus. This is an exciting opportunity and Helen is focused on providing the support and guidance for academies and every student within in their journey to excellence.
