Jo Haworth-King
Partnership Development Officer
Jo previously worked for Rochdale Borough Council for several years where she undertook a variety of roles and responsibilities initially working on the Raising Participation Age agenda and leading on the work in relation to Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance. Jo was then promoted to the Inclusion Lead Officer within School Improvement, managing the Inclusion Teams which comprised of Attendance and Safeguarding, Children Missing Education, Elective Home Education, Fair Access, School Enforcement and Raising Participation. Jo worked with all Primary and Secondary Headteachers and their staff across Rochdale Borough on a myriad of Inclusion work. Jo developed and lead the work on Alternative Provision for the Borough, developing an AP Strategy and networks and increasing the number of AP Providers for schools to access provision for their pupils.
As Partnership Development Officer for the Trust, Jo drives the Enrichment Partnership Pilot Programme, providing the centralised support to secondary schools to improve their enrichment offer.
In her spare time, Jo is a trustee at Rochdale AFC Community Trust and Rochdale Training and is part of an amateur dramatics' society.
