Altus Community Hub
at Kingsway Park High School
The Altus Community Hub, based at Kingsway Park High School, is a FREE and confidential service for families and individuals in our local communities to access food, clothing, washing & drying facilities and support & guidance.
The Hub is based at Kingsway Park High School, with seperate access from the school building. The Hub can be accessed by families and individuals who require this service from any of our Trust academies, and we distribute items as required directly to those academies.
As things progress, we will also use the Hub for other items that are donated, including toys, second-hand homeware and kitchen equipment, and previously worn (but perfectly good!) school uniform. Recipe cards will also be available with ingredients to make nutritious meals.
The Altus Community Hub has been organised as a way of supporting families and communities around the borough of Rochdale.
Opening time of the Hub from September 2024 are:
Wednesdays: 4:30pm - 6:30pm
Sundays: 10:00am - 12:00noon
The Hub will be closed from Friday 19th July and will re-open on Wednesday 11th September 2024. If you are in need of support from a food bank over the summer, please follow the link below:
